About Charleston Local Metal Showcase

Music Farm is proud to present a Charleston Local Metal Showcase. Come out and support these fantastic local metal bands. This show is the second in a series of local showcases where we highlight local artists/bands in different genres.

About Ozmyridis

Ozmyridis is a 4-Piece Prog/Metal Band from Charleston, SC. Rising from the ashes of a smoldering 2022 Charleston Metal scene, Ozmyridis quickly and aggressively launched their campaign to shatter the stigma that has loomed over Metal in the low country.

Inspired by bands like Tool, Killswitch Engage, Sevendust, Metallica, Breaking Benjamin, Deftones, Slipknot & more, Ozmyridis has created a sound that is unlike any other in Charleston. Driving guitars, visceral percussion, haunting melodies, guttural screams & thought provoking lyrics concoct a remedy for fans of all ages & metal sub genres.

About Kept In Ruins

Kept in Ruins’ sound is influenced by individual musical backgrounds. Varying from Metal, Contemporary Jazz, R&B, Death Metal, Deathcore & more. This  Charleston based band has only one guarantee: They’re Always Bringing Ferocious Deliveries.
They will be releasing their newest studio album December of 2022!

About Decadence

Decadence is a modern hard rock band based out of Columbia, SC. Established in 2007, Decadence has toured the south east and shared the stage with many outstanding local, regional, and national acts. Decadence gains influence from bands like Sevendust, Breaking Benjamin, Killswitch Engage, and the likes thereof.

About Serpent Church

Starting as a two-piece with founding members, Jon and Michael, Serpent Church grew to a four-piece after adding Robbie on bass and Chris on vocals by the end of 2021.

The first single, “Death Knows You’re Here”, is a raucous introduction to their sound that fuses classic metal, punk and stoner rock. Driving drums, crunchy and distorted guitars
and Danzig-esque vocals will whip one into a frenzy that resembles a cross between a mosh pit and a snake handler revival. Be prepared for a hella loud and sweaty good time.
