About Asheville Cats

Asheville Cats is a super group of Asheville musicians featuring Dobroist Tommy Maher (Fireside Collective), guitarist/mandolinist Drew Matulich (Grass is Dead), drummer Jay Hoots (Birddog Jubilee) and bassist Ryan Kijanka (Sirius.B). Asheville Cats play high energy bluegrass with a level of musicianship that will have you intently listening for what will happen next while keeping your body moving to the groove.

About Southern Flavor Bluegrass Band

SOUTHERN FLAVOR BLUEGRASS BAND is comprised of F.B. Del Porto on lead & rhythm guitar, lead & harmony vocals, Anthony Del Porto on upright bass, lead & harmony vocals, Tadd Huff on banjo, and George Del Porto on mandolin, lead & harmony vocals. The band is driven by tight family harmonies, solid bass and guitar rhythm and a wide range of instrumental breaks. Combining styles of Modern and Traditional Bluegrass, Blues and Country, and many other influences, Southern Flavor Bluegrass Band has been playing around Charleston and beyond for 20+ years doing a mixture of traditional and progressive bluegrass music on all acoustic instruments.  We play original songs as well as many bluegrass favorites, both vocal and instrumental.
