The Charleston Music Hall and Music Farm are dedicated to making a positive impact in our community. That’s why every quarter, we proudly join forces with a different charity or non-profit organization. Not only do we contribute a donation to support their cause, but we also offer them complimentary access to either the Charleston Music Hall or Music Farm as a venue for their events. Moreover, we actively promote the organization through our social media channels and newsletter, amplifying their message and encouraging others to get involved. We firmly believe that venues are not only valuable artistic resources for communities, but also have the power to foster positive change within the communities they serve. We have had the privilege of collaborating with some remarkable organizations thus far, and we encourage you to explore their work and consider making a donation if you resonate with their mission.
Q2 2023 Community Partner
HEART: An Inclusive Arts Community
Their Mission: HEART provides visual arts, music, and performing arts mentorships and community engagement for adults with disabilities who want to grow and develop as artists. At HEART, we have created a studio where artists of all abilities work together to create something that enriches and transforms the community.
We chose HEART because of the great work they do with and for adults with disabilities. This organization is a true testament to the healing and helpful power of art. They have now produced and performed three original plays/musicals on our stage. Each one has been amazingly unique and filled with joy.
Q1 2023 Community Partner
ALS Association of SC
Their Mission: To discover treatments and a cure for ALS, and to serve, advocate for, and empower people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest.
We chose ALS Association for our Q1 charity partner because we have had several team
members who have lost loved ones to ALS recently, so this organization and their effort to treat and cure ALS is near and dear to us.
Q4 2022 Community Partner
Carolina Youth Development Center
Their Mission: To cultivate thriving children and families.
CYDC was found in 1790 and was one of America’s first publicly-funded orphanages. We were very impressed by their campus in North Charleston and all the great programs they offer children and their families.
